Child-Friendly A-Frame Vacation Home in the Palatinate Forest for Rent

The house is situated in Germany’s largest forest area and biosphere reserve close to France. Gossersweiler-Stein is a nice village with a beautiful countryside and forest, ideal as a starting point for many sightseeing trips to castles and other places of interest. The Southern Wine Road is not far away and passing the German Wine Gate in Schweigen-Rechtenbach you are in Weissenburg (Alsace) in a few minutes. The Palatinate reaches from the Rhine river to the Vosges Mountains.

Our vacation home can accommodate up to 4 adults.

When you enter the house you are in a small entrance hall first. Here you can hang your hat/coats  on a hat and coat stand and put your shoes on the shoe shelf, before you go into the living-room. 

The house has a pleasant living- and dining room with wooden furniture. The dining area is suitable for 4 persons. The living area has a very comfortable couch-group with table, a large color television with satellite reception and a DVD-Player. Naturally the house also has heating for the colder seasons.

The small bathroom is also on the ground floor. It has a shower, toilet, sink, bathroom cupboard with mirror and extra shelves. We also furnish a hair dryer for your use.

The built-in kitchen is completely equipped and ready for self-catering. It includes a cooking stove four pots, a normal size refrigerator and of course a sink with hot water (sorry – no dish-washer), a microwave oven, a coffee maker, a toaster, an egg boiler, an electric bread slicer , a sandwich toaster, a popcorn-machine, a mixer, an electric water boiler, plenty of cooking utensils, many pans and pots and table ware, etc. With the comforts we offer you will feel like home.

Upstairs you will find 2 twin bedrooms. One of the bedrooms (usually used for the children) is equipped with an extra TV with satellite reception. Both rooms have alarm clocks, and one has a radio. In the upstairs entrance area between the two rooms you have sufficient space to store suitcases and bags.

The above weekly rate includes rent, final cleaning, heating and power. There are no addidional costs except you wish to rent bedlinen. If you do so, please let us know in advance. The rate for one complete set of linen is 7€.
